Ah. Another sweet September day.
Yes. I think I've found my new favorite thing. Mushrooms.
I even tried to plant a few in a small glass jar to set on my desk. But no, it didn't work out very well. For some reason the mushroom wouldn't stand up straight.
Oh well. I'll always have pictures of mushrooms.
This morning was Writing II, and I love it. Mostly, I love spending time with Paper Bird and Little Fairy and everyone! Plus, this class is totally my thing. I really enjoy writing and reading.
When we got home, I took my usual walk with E, S, G, Hodge, and Pan.
Hodge, as you can see, is not in this post because he was too busy sleeping. Pan, however, was as active as ever. He's found a new love- passion fruit. He will carry them around in his mouth like a ball and then run to hide them somewhere in the field.
And we found a ...gulp... locust. Or at least that's what we think it was.
Oooo and I'm really thrilled about how the spider web one turned out. The sun must have been hitting it just right. I had sort of a hard time getting my camera to focus on it. I'm sure I looked a bit crazy standing in the middle of the woods pointing my lens up to the sky. teehee.
S was all for cheesy smiles today. E was... her typical darling self.
Then I spent the rest of the afternoon housecleaning and rearranging my room things.
I stepped outside the box and came up with a new decor item for the top of my desk. I used the bottom half of a paper egg carton and filled the egg-holder parts with all sorts of natural things... seashells, flower petals, Hawaiian rocks, snail shells, etc. I'll have pictures of it up soon.
Well, its off to bed for me.
And again, I don't have time to edit them tonight and think I like the pictures better that way.
