from one holiday to the next...

the tree.
There's nothing I enjoy more than the delightful smell of the Christmas tree in our living room. We have 7 sets of colored lights nestled in the branches this year. Needless to say, this is the brightest Christmas tree we've ever had. I love the reflection of the tiny lights in the windows. How have you decorated your tree this year?

the decorations.
Probably the funnest part of preparing for the holidays. I found a tiny cedar tree outside and decided he would look perfect on my desk. And since I'm not allowed to have a real tree in my room, I've found something that's almost as good. I've fallen in love with this room spray. It smells just like the real thing.

crazy thankful.
Thanksgiving Day was great this year, as it was spent with my family here at our house. It was simple and I liked it that way. We baked and cooked all morning. And so, I took my camera into the kitchen with me. Food is quite fun to photograph, really. Even though Thanksgiving Day is long gone... my thankfulness remains. I've got so many things to be thankful for, so many blessings. {family. friends. my home. good health. laughter. my camera. these highschool years.}
How did you spend Thanksgiving day?

a new look.
And might I mention that my blog has been under construction for the past couple of days. You might have noticed the new header at the top. In addition, I now have three columns. What do you think?
Carlotta, over at Pastor's Girl's Ponderings is the fantastic person who remodeled it for me. She's been so amazingly helpful. Be sure to take a look at her blog, please.

  1. Aw shucks, I didn't do much ;) I'm glad you like it though!
    We haven't put up our tree yet...we usually wait until about 2 1/2 weeks before Christmas to do it. I can't wait to put it up, though!
