i digress

1.04.2011

1. time for change again
Let's face it. I can't really make up my mind about anything blog design. The no-title posts really appealed to me for a while, but lately its just been bugging me. So, I'm letting my creative juices flow with the titles. I'm hoping to alternate three or four post titles each time I blog. This one is where I digress, share my thoughts, and current events. Oh, and the fonts may change from time to time. {Please let me know if something doesn't show up, as I've been having a bit of trouble with certain font types.}

2. happy birthday to paper bird
My awesome friend turned eighteen today! Holy cow, you're officially an adult. You can vote now, get a tattoo, buy fireworks, and all that other fun stuff. But in all seriousness, you're one of the most thoughtful and kindest persons I know. Happy Birthday PB, love you girl.

3. never too old for fairies
Okay. I realize I'm seventeen, but I've always loved this book. It's called Fairyopolis, a flower fairy journal. It's written like an old scrapbook, with lift the flaps, old photographs, & other tiny treasures on the pages. I love how vintage and unique it looks.

4. time to vote
If you haven't already, head on over to i heart faces, and click on my photo #171 to vote for me. I'd really appreciate it, and if you're under 18 - no worries, it's totally legal. c:

5. semester two begins.
School started this Monday. Eh, I'm having mixed feelings about it. I'm really excited to see all of my tutorial friends again next week. I loath really don't care for Spanish. Everyone says its the easiest language to learn. I think not. On a lighter note, I started Health this semester. So far it's been easy breezy, because it seems like doing a recap of Anatomy, which I started in the fall. And reading, well, it's always been my favorite. I got the complete collection of Edgar Allan Poe for Christmas, and am loving it.

6. the origin of colds
"It's cold outside. That's why we get colds." Little S stated this as he wiped his nose for the hundredth time today. Yes, its just that time of year. A good excuse to drink lots of peppermint tea.

  3. Fairyopolis sounds and looks just magical!

    I'm so bad at titles and I just mainly write what immediately comes to mind. They either turn out boring or corny... :(
